Today, I have mostly been de-cluttering and tidying.

It’s been many many many years since this last happened and is very long overdue thanks to a chronic bout of procrastination.  Nonetheless it’s started and should be done in a couple of days barring any mishaps.

Highlights of the big clean up so far include finding an ever so stylish ugly waistcoat given to me on my first day of work a few days after my 16th birthday (I’m 32 now!) as part of my uniform which was never ever worn, several shirts that would look better as a pair of curtains or that could only be pulled off when wearing a cowboy hat….and I don’t do hats, and finally my old school yearbook from 1996 which my individual photo is conspicuously missing from due to an editing mistake….ahhh good times! :)

Obviously a de-cluttering is a generally good thing but I’m hopeful I can go one step further and end up being totally paperless too so I can get rid of all the mountains of letters, bills, statements, etc…. that always seem to end up lying around everywhere (again because of chronic procrastination).  Still baby steps first though…back to work!
